GRD Franmarine, located at the Australian Marine Complex, is Australia’s leading commercial diving company with three decades of experience.

Gage Roads Diving Pty Ltd (GRD) is a company in association with Franmarine Underwater Services Pty Ltd and together they form GRD Franmarine.

Franmarine Underwater Services, established in 1981, is the most experience onshore commercial diving company operating in Western Australia. GRD, established in 2011, performs required services on offshore projects, thus conforming to legislation. 

Our vision is to be the best commercial diving company operating in Australia. We understand that the key to our goal lies with our clients and in providing a value added service. Our strong quality management system allows us to deliver our services within budget, on time and thoroughly documented.

Commitment to quality

GRD Franmarine have undergone third party certification in respect to our quality management systems. The company presently holds the following Classification Society approvals: American Bureau of Shipping, Nippon Kaiji, Det Norske Veritas, Germainischer Lloyd, Lloyds Register of Shipping and Bureau Veritas relating to our commercial diving operations. Included within our quality management system are the following key elements:

  • Operations and Procedures Manual
  • Safety Manual
  • Detailed environmental management and risk management plans.

A​ll diving operations are conducted in accordance with Australian statutory requirements.
